We started our journey to Africa for an extended safari in Botswana several days ago. After delayed flights and mis-routed luggage, re-routed flights, and a day spent unexpectedly in Minneapolis, we finally made it to Johannesburg, South Africa. Don’s duffel didn’t make it, but we hope it will eventually get to Botswana. In a few minutes we leave for Maun, Botswana, where we will then board a bush plane to fly into Mopiri Camp, a camp on an island in the middle of a lagoon in the Okavango Delta. I will post pictures and descriptions here as I have internet service, which will be rare.
